At Chestnut Manor Farms we are committed
to making sure your hunting experience is not only unique, exciting
and fun but safe. In order to give you and your hunting party the
best hunting experience we request that you read through the following
information and sign if you agree to the polices.

The hunter is responsible for
his/her own actions as well as those actions of their hunting party.

CMF will not be responsible for
injuries, damage or death in the unlikely event should something
happen.

There will be no alcoholic beverages
allowed during the hunt. Any beverages may be stored in the lodge
for consumption when the weapons are put away after the hunt.

No recreational drugs will be
tolerated at any time during your stay at CMF.

CMF will not be responsible for
items left in the blinds, deer stands and Lodge. We will make every
effort to help locate items that may be misplaced.

Please be respectful of our animals
and crops because this is our livelihood.
- All weapons must be unloaded when climbing
into and out of the stand/blinds.

Refrain from urinating and defecating
in the wildlife habitat, it drives the animals away.

Must wear safety harness at all
times when in the deer stand.

Deer hunters must stay in stands
until notified by their guide. You will be escorted to and from
the stand for your safety and for the success of our wildlife trophy
management.

Contact your guide when you have
harvested a deer. Hunters must not track without a guide! Do not
leave the stand until the guide arrives. Tracking it may lead to
putting
yourself
in
harms
way
because fellow
hunters are out there with you.

Tracking
will be left to the discretion of the guide after prime hunting
hours. This ensures a better
hunting experience so people won’t wander in other hunting
parameters.

No field dressing in the woods,
this will be taken care of by your guide at the lodge.

CMF bag limits on deer hunting
are as follows: 1 trophy buck and 2 doe per hunter.

Any buck
harvested must be shoulder mounted which allows us to regulate
our trophy bucks. Everyone’s
idea of a trophy may be different as long as it is worth your $400
mounting fee from Trail’s End Taxidermy or Council Taxidermy.
- Hunters must abide by all DNR rules and regulations.
- Prior to the
hunt, it is the hunter's responsibility to get a MD State hunting
license.

Guide gratuities are common practice
and are not included in daily fees.
- Drop off at stands prior to sunrise and 1:30 p.m. for afternoon
hunt. Pick up stands no earlier than 10:30 for morning hunts and
sundown for afternoon hunts.
- Rack and cape stay together at all times at Trail's End Taxidermy
or Council Taxidermy.
- Rack will be scored by an official from B&C or P&Y. Then an official
card will be sent to you for your authentication.
- CMF has the option to replicate your rack for display purposes.
Please make us aware of any issues that
you may have with these policies. Strict adherence is advised and any
violation will result in immediate removal from the property and no
refunds will be given.
